Sales Account Manager / Agency / Bath / ££ Competitive

FWD is delighted to be working with an award-winning Brand Partnerships Agency based in the heart of Bath in fab offices. You will be working with an enviable client list, including household brands from the Fashion and Retail sectors, as well as developing new relationships & establishing strong partnerships.

As Account Manager, you will work on new business pitches right through to delivery. Responsible for winning the business, creating campaigns, negotiating commercials, and managing the account.

Our client is widely respected as one of the best in in the industry and connects brands that can benefit from one another. They deliver first-class client management services and promote Brand Partnerships through a number of different routes to market including product sampling, media inserts, social media and in-store activations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new business via a number of different communication methods
  • Executing first-class sampling campaigns
  • Social media monitoring software to report on campaign reach and impressions
  • Assist in researching brands, new product launches and key contacts
  • Relationship-building (client, agency, supplier and internal)
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and budget
  • Developing presentations to review client activity
  • Client-facing, including some travel and time outside of the office

About You:

  • Strong sales & new business winning background (1-2 years in a sale's focused role)
  • Knowledge of the FMCG market place
  • Knowledge of the fashion retail market
  • Basic knowledge of social media tools and how to use them
  • An ability to devise new approaches to clients and prospect clients
  • An understanding of youth culture trends
  • Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines
  • Passion for advertising and marketing
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of MS Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong negotiation skills

Desirable Requirements:

  • An experience of the FMCG, health, beauty & fashion industries and its customers
  • Confidence to suggest innovative ways to drive increased revenue to the department and new areas for expansion within the Brand Partnerships arena
  • Knowledge of the sampling /Partnership/ Affiliate marketplace (training will be provided to enhance knowledge)
  • Knowledge of the print industry
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Understanding of the principles of PR and direct marketing
  • Full, clean driving license
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
