Performance Marketing Manager / Greater Manchester / £40,000 (Paid Social / Display / Affiliates / CRM)

FWD are partnering with a fast-growing DTC eCommerce brand in the booming athleisure category. This ambitious start-up is looking for a super star of the future to make Performance Marketing their own and drive the future Paid Social strategy for the organisation.

Reporting to the MD and co-founder, you'll manage all traffic within an agreed Cost Per Acquisition & Lifetime Value framework you'll propose, agree and review with the business on an on-going basis. As a minimum this will be Paid Social (your super-power), Search Engine Marketing, Display Retargeting, Affiliates and CRM (outbound customer communication). There is already a fantastic brand team in place to help drive further traffic with Organic and Earned (Influencer / Ambassador) activity also, which we believe will be a key driver in traffic too.

Role Responsibilities:

Own all Paid Media / Traffic Driving tactics and deliver best practice in Paid Social, SEM, CRM / Email, Affiliates, Re-targeting, Display, ATL, BTL and other emerging channels that unlock our objectives

● Propose, Agree and Review internal team vs external agency strategy on an on-going / periodic basis

● Set, monitor CPA by channel to deliver 'profitable' acquisition activity and establish KPIs for yourself/your team to work against

● Own (Retention / CRM); greater results in retention (LTV) unlock greater acquisition budgets for the business, which means larger databases for you to target and manage, and utilise RFM / CRM Data to build target audiences (look-a-likes etc) in advertising / media platforms

● Develop an attribution model which allows you, your function and broader business to understand how each media channel contributes to visits / sales, bring great and truthful data and insight to the business

● Work closely with wider trading and product teams to agree call to action / tactics and trading plan that optimises your retention activity

● Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practice, with Media / CRM / Traffic driving focus, and feed into strategic product / brand decisions that help grow the business

● Keep up to date with eCommerce, Media, CRM & Attribution best practice of tomorrow through training, research etc

● Positively impact and influence internal stakeholders and external partners;

About You:

3-5 Years of managing 'call to action' retail marketing activity within eCommerce, particularly direct response channels, particularly Paid Social

● Experience with numerous ESP (Klaviyo), Email / Segmentation platforms as well as Shopify

● Great understanding of Facebook's and Google's advertising platforms and associated tools

● Keen interested in burgeoning platforms (TikTok, Byte etc)

● Strong entrepreneurial bias that has track record building, managing and motivating yourself and digitally disruptive agile teams (internal and external) who deliver exceptional results

● HTML / email Coding experience (preferred not essential)

● Experience in cosmetics / beauty and love beauty products (preferred not essential)

● Global experience (USA, Europe)

● Multi-Language skills (preferred not essential)
