FWD Thinking are proud to be partnering with Bath Rugby, one of the most iconic brands in the South West, in order to recruit an exceptional Marketing Manager to join their successful Commercial team.

Bath Rugby is continuing to invest in developing one of the most successful clubs, both on and off the pitch.

The Sales & Marketing Director is looking for a commercially focussed, driven candidate to take on the role of Marketing Manager and provide support in delivering ambitious business growth targets. This is a FTC Maternity Cover Contract

Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of the annual marketing plan for consumer, corporate community, retail and promotional channels across all media platforms
  • Maximise ticket sales revenue for Bath Rugby (understanding of pricing initiatives and relevant audiences)
  • Deliver exceptional experience for our supporters throughout the customer journey and ownership of engaging activation and entertainment for all matchdays and events
  • Own "in-house" projects and events including The Clash, Season Ticket & Membership events and to identify new opportunities aligned to the new Stadium Development
  • Manage and develop the Marketing Team to deliver & execute the Marketing plan
  • Manage agency relationships to ensure positive ROI across all channels achieving revenue targets as well as brand growth & engagement objectives

About You:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a marketing role in a fast-paced consumer facing organisation.
  • Digital knowledge of planning, advertising & evaluation experience is essential
  • Proven experience of CRM marketing is essential
  • Excellent organisational skills, desire to take on responsibility and high degree of personal motivation and drive.
  • Demonstrate high levels of diligence and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team including proven leadership at a senior level, high level of negotiation skills, management and team development.
  • Expected to be able to demonstrate a high level of drive, independent thought and strategic thinking.
