Marketing Assistant / Retail / Taunton / ££GOOD FWD is working exclusively with a leading luxury Bed retailer who are widely renowned both in the UK and Internationally. As part of their ongoing Marketing strategy there is now a unique opportunity for a graduate calibre Marketing Assistant to join their successful Marketing team based in their Wellington Office nr Taunton. Role Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with internal and external teams to manage marketing projects offline and online
  • Obtaining quotes from 3rd party and internal suppliers, completing briefs for creative work, managing print and imagery, digital activity and changes, writing product copy
  • Assisting in editing and proof-reading marketing materials, which include production descriptions and specifications
  • Maintaining adequate systems for recording, archiving and retrieving any marketing data
  • Maintain budget records and raise POs
  • Assisting in the organisation and co-ordination of the showroom set-up for promotional materials and marketing events
  • Assisting in the organisation and co-ordination of photo shoots both on-site and off-site, including making arrangements for the venue booking and all set-up requirements
  • Assisting in the creation of photography through CGI with a third-party supplier
  • Assisting in the organisation of trade and other shows
  • Assisting in organising and co-ordinating the display of products and promotional materials off-site at trade shows and similar
  • Update and manage brand websites and social media channels and the reporting for both
  • Understanding product from briefing to creating and writing meaningful and engaging copy
About You:
  • Good Microsoft office skills across Excel, Work and PowerPoint
  • Experience in digital marketing and google analytics.
  • Proven ability to deliver creative, inventive and practical ideas in a limited timescale
  • Articulate written and verbal communicator
  • Good eye for detail
  • Can work well as part of team and use initiative when required
  • Copy writing experience
  • Positive outlook
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to organise self and workload to meet multiple timescales and deadlines
  • Ability and willingness to work flexibly Team player
