About the opportunity
This exciting new opportunity calls for an outstanding candidate to take the lead on Pukka's brand communications, responsible for its UK execution and global governance. The Global reach of this role demands a highly experienced, strategic and creative approach that ensures Pukka's communication champions the mission to connect people, plants and planet, and realises their ambition to be the leader of the herbal health and wellbeing revolution.
You'll have responsibility for the global commercial performance of Pukka marketing, and for the impact across all platforms and channels. This specifically includes CRM, web and E-commerce, social media, content, influencers and experiential - ensuring Pukka is best in its class. Drawing on your experience of working for a purpose-led business, you'll also deliver a communications plan that not only continues to inspire the existing loyal consumer base but reaches and engages many new consumers around the globe.
Leading a substantial and experienced team and working collaboratively with a wide range of Pukka people and Unilever colleagues, you'll focus on the growth of the brand aligned closely to commercial performance targets and the mission of the business. Additionally, you'll manage all external communications partners including brand, packaging and media agencies.
An excellent communicator, you will inspire others with your passion and enthusiasm to deliver ground-breaking and innovative marketing communications. You'll also be an experienced leader, with the ability to motivate and develop a Global team to achieve and deliver 'excellence'. These qualities will be matched by outstanding commercial acumen and your ability to successfully create and present ideas, strategies and frameworks to a diverse range of stakeholders.
You'll be educated to degree level in Marketing or business-related disciplines, with an additional proven leadership or marketing qualification. You will also have actively developed global teams of highly skilled, highly motivated and progressive thinkers. If you are to be at the helm of the brand communications strategy, you'll thrive at pace, be resilient dealing with ambiguity, and turn challenge and obstacles into decisive and purposeful action.
