Sales Account Manager / Food & Drink / £25-33k / Bath

My client is a leading ethical food and drink manufacturer based near Bath. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a number of Account Managers to join them on their exciting journey.

About the Role:

  • As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial development of Global brands.
  • Identifying strategic market opportunities
  • Leveraging the brands core capabilities into the foodservice channel by developing excellent relationships with core customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicates effectively at all levels (up and down, internal and external).
  • Understands the vision and strategy. Sets plans based on external environment and internal capabilities; takes account of different views to build and deliver optimal plan for Brand. Stays up to date with trends and industry issues.

  • Sets challenging yet achievable and realistic objectives to self and team that are aligned to wider business plans. Communicates goals and priorities. Identifies and priorities work activities and resources to deliver expected resources.
  • Creates a sense of urgency to drive change. Encourages others to ask questions and share ideas and feedback. Takes on tasks willingly. Demonstrates respect for and understanding of diverse viewpoints
  • Sets best practice for development of the Brand. Constantly reviews activity to ensure most appropriate, profitable, approach is adopted. Shares expertise and knowledge to develop skills of others. Stays current with changing work methods.
  • Demonstrates a positive can-do attitude and motivates others to achieve more. Proactively seeks new challenges and opportunities to expand knowledge. Takes responsibility for actions and mistakes. Shows a passion for developing Brand and Company.
